Middlewood Rovers Launch Men’s Football Section for 2025/26

We’re proud to announce the next chapter in the Middlewood Rovers story: the launch of a brand new Men’s Section, expanding our club into adult football from the 2025/26 season.

As one of the oldest junior football clubs in South Yorkshire, our roots stretch back to the 1970s. We’ve grown steadily over the years, building a club that now supports more than 30 teams across boys’, girls’, pan-disability and mental health football – always with the same grassroots values at heart.

Now, as we look to the future, we’re excited to offer a full pathway from junior to senior football. Our new Men’s Section will compete across various Sheffield leagues and bring together former players, new recruits and local talent under the Middlewood Rovers banner.

This is more than just a new team – it’s an opportunity to extend the spirit and identity of Middlewood Rovers into adult football. We’ll be bringing the same community focus, commitment to development, and pride in the badge that has driven us for decades.
